Fantastic Food, Great Service and great use of space. My Boyfriend had the bangers mash ( he loved) and I had a Blue Cheese Burger with caramelized onions on a pretzel bun. ( I loved it) We also had the smoked salmon with cream cheese dip for an appetizer ( amazing). I didn't care for the cole slaw needed some cranberries in it to sweeten it up.
Also, it was late at night and we had been driving for hours, they were kind enough to make a pot at 9:00pm for us ;).

Gorgeous venue, but everything from food to beer missed the mark.
Walked in on a Saturday night to get dinner with my family, being a lover of craft beer, I was excited to try the different offerings that Big Lake had considering I've seen their cans distributed all over the state.
Sadly, the beer was super underwhelming. The IPAs all had this weird watery flavor that made the beer seem muddled and lacked the crispness I enjoy in a lot of beers, even "Hazy" NEIPAs. There was a real lack of clear flavors in the beers I tried which were the Big Lake Camper, and the Idaho Hops beer. Honestly the best beer I had was the IPA Slushie which was lemon and mango, it had a great slushie texture!
The food menu had a lot of good looking items, but I was being boring so decided to order the chicken tenders. They were pretty awful, super small and dry, the ranch dressing wasn't anything to write home about either.
I was also excited to try the brussel sprouts as a side, but they really let me down. I was expecting crispy sprouts, but instead got a steamed bowl of brussel sprouts that were really tough texture wise and lacked any seasoning.
For how many great breweries there are in Holland, I would skip out on Big Lake. -

This place is great!!! Good food, great service.
But.....they don't have a kids menu. To expensive to order food for a child. They are not very accommodating for kids. To bad
..ot is a fun place. -

Awesome place!! We're not big beer drinkers but wanted to try this place out! It was great! Ben was very helpful with getting us a delicious beer and just an all around great server. He was very attentive and always made sure our glasses were full and that we were taken care of. Another gentleman came around a couple times to ask us how everything was and what beers we had and how we liked them. Not sure if it was the owner or the man Brewing the beer himself but none the less him checking on us also was very awesome! Food was delicious also! Would definitely enjoy coming back here! Also had a variety for everyone beer expert or someone just looking for a good drink and delicious food!

Enjoyed the grilled salmon blt with tots for my meal and would come again to try something else on the menu! Too many good choices. I liked the atmosphere of the place and the great service we had tonight. Would recommend to my friends and family.
